At Relay For Life, a survivor is anyone who has heard the words “you’ve got cancer”—whether currently undergoing treatment or in remission. We are proud to welcome all survivors as our honoured guests.
Some survivors choose to take part as team members and walk the track, while others simply register and join us on the day to be celebrated and supported.
Each year, survivors lead the opening lap of Relay, cheered on by everyone at the event. After this powerful moment, they are invited to enjoy a special celebratory lunch in the marquee.
